Working my first job.

Yesterday I got a new keyboard (thanks bro) and it feels so good when it makes clicky clicky sounds that I just had to write about something so I decided to write about certain things I learned about work.

Less time to blog.

It feels a bit strange now that I don't blog quite as much as I used to.

Don't get me wrong I do love writing and making up things in my head and having others read them and tell me what they think, it's just that nowadays it seems a lot less important than it used.

Blogging was a big deal during my days at university, I had far too much free time that I needed to fill. Writing blog posts and having people tell me they like (or hate) them was a thrill, it was even a useful skill since it helped me become a far better writer for things I do in real life.

But now I've recently been hired just 3 weeks after graduating, I have to focus on this new job and doing my best there. Unlike university where you just attend classes and can do nothing the rest of the day, work takes a much larger bite of the everyday's time. Not as free as I used to be but I love my job at least.

With my focus split between work and my love life, blogging seems a lot less important now and more of a short past time I do on Wednesdays when I review Naruto, other than that I feel like there isn't much to write about.

I'm now halfway done with my training, it's been quite an experience so far yet not how I imagined it would be, I expected to go to work to learn about work but what I ended up learning about was people.

Might makes right.

So I recently started training for my future career, well potential future career really since it's odd how sometimes you go through a long path in life then realize "wait a minute... is this what I want?"

Resolutions for 2014

So another year has passed and it's time for everyone to set up some unrealistic resolutions that they will give up on soon.... Okay that sounded a bit more negative than I intended it to but yeah if a person wants to change their life I always wonder why they wait till New Year to do that, can you imagine someone in November thinking to themselves " I really should exercise more... nah I'll do that next year" so if a person does want to improve they shouldn't wait.

Not everything ages well.

For a very long time I would read about Baldurs Gate 2 on many forums when people discuss things like Best RPG or best game from Bioware, it's quite an old game now but I every time I read about it it's all great reviews and everyone loves it so naturally I wanted to play it myself so I did....

I was quite bored last Sunday and just couldn't find anything I wanted to watch. Somehow I managed to remember that Seinfield did some stand up and I am very glad I did because this show is hilarious.

Reality is harsh

It seems that almost everytime I open my facebook account or watch something I get the usual message of how if we try hard enough, anything can happen. All you need in life is to believe in yourself, if you believe it will happen.

What is shallow?

Well lets start with what the dictionary defines as shallow.

It usually means a man/woman who only judges by looks and not by personality. 
Personally I believe it's a term that is massively overused. Is it so wrong to judge a person for their looks and try to get some information about them through how they dress/look?
